Arc Myeloma Support Group

Tags

This patient-led support group was set up in March 2010.

We meet on the first Tuesday of the month in the warm and welcoming Arc house at 559 South Circular road, Dublin 8 from  7-9pm.

The aim of the group is simply to support one another, including carers, family and friends, through the diagnosis and treatment of Myeloma.

Our meetings are generally informal, drop-in meetings but we also organise talks on topics of interest to the group from time to time.

Our Spring/Summer 2012 programme is as follows:-

Feb 7     Drop-in meeting. Join us for a chat and cuppa.

Mar 6  “ Living with the side-effects of Myeloma and it’s treatment”-  Dr. John Quinn, Beaumont hospital.

Apr 3    “Hypnosis-it’s benefits for cancer patients and carers”- Kathleen Beston, CNS St.James’s hospital.

May 1   “Caring for the Carers”—Linda Houlihan, Arc.

June 5   Tea party/ BBQ. All welcome as usual.
